By creating a ScopeGap account you agree to these terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
ScopeGap is documentation software. It reads a carrier's estimate, suggests line items that may be missing, prices them from settings you control, and produces letters and reports you review and send yourself.
Suggestions, code references and industry-standard citations are informational. Check every item, price and citation against the claim, your own judgement and the code edition adopted where the property is, before sending anything.
Keep your password to yourself and tell us if an account is compromised. Owners control who else is on their team and what settings apply. You are responsible for what members of your team do in your account.
Don't use ScopeGap to send anything false or misleading to a carrier, to upload content you have no right to, to attack or scrape the service, or to resell access without our agreement. We may suspend an account that does.
Letters and reminders are sent through our email provider. Don't use that to send bulk or unsolicited mail; volume limits apply, and abuse ends the account.
Each company's first claim is free, with every feature available on it. Creating further claims needs a paid plan. We'll tell you the price before you're charged and you can stop using the service instead; nothing here obliges you to continue. Claims you've already created stay readable whether or not you take a plan.
Your claims, files and letters remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host and process them so the service works. We don't use your claims to train AI models.
The service is provided as it is, without warranties. We don't promise uninterrupted availability or any particular claim outcome. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months, and we are not liable for lost profits or amounts a carrier declined to pay.
You can stop using ScopeGap and ask us to delete your data at any time. We can end an account that breaks these terms, and will give you a chance to export your data unless the breach makes that unreasonable.
We'll post material changes here and update the date above. Continuing to use the service means you accept them.
